October is right around the corner and I’m working on plans for the next meetup. I’ve been tossing some ideas around with folks and we are considering adding an additional meeting every month. One for networking and the other for hack-a-thons.

I’ve almost completed the redesign of this blog. I’m skinning it based on the sandbox theme. If you are into wordpress and designing themes, this is by far the “theme for themers”. I will get into breaking down a wordpress theme in another post :)

A few months back I searched for a local web design/dev group here in Vegas to no avail. So, I decided to start one.
Welcome to VegasFoo! We are attempting to cultivate a web design and development community in Las Vegas. The plan is to host open discussions and mixers to start with, see where the interests of the group lie, then possibly roll into a bit more structure with a presentation/mixer combo.
