Hello World!

A few months back I searched for a local web design/dev group here in Vegas to no avail. So, I decided to start one.

Welcome to VegasFoo! We are attempting to cultivate a web design and development community in Las Vegas. The plan is to host open discussions and mixers to start with, see where the interests of the group lie, then possibly roll into a bit more structure with a presentation/mixer combo.

The meetings are usually on the first Tuesday of every month. Our next mixer will be August 14th at Claim Jumper on Green Valley parkway. If you would like to attend…please RSVP through Facebook.com or Meetup.com.

This is FANTASTIC..thanks for doing this. As an FYI, I’d like to let you know about the Las Vegas Dreamweaver Users Group.

We meet last Friday of every month (7 p.m.) at New Horizons in Summerlin. Our next meeting will be an Adobe Breeze session with Stephanie Sullivan, noted CSS guru and the person who built all the new css templates in Dreamweaver CS3.
